 Muran Movie Review
After his successful release of ‘Kalavani’, which was a big hit last year, young actor Vimal is again joining hands with Sargunam for his next release ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’!
The film is a period drama set to be happening in the 60s. It tells about the love life of a school teacher who comes to a remote village in Tamil Nadu. The movie is emotionally packed with high romance and family drama with a touch of humour in the script.
Vimal plays the school teacher Veluthambi, who had completed PUC, falls in love with a local girl Madhi, who works in a tea shop in the village. Malabar actress Iniya, who has acted in Mysskin’s ‘Yudham Sei’ with her original name Shruthi, is playing the local girl Madhi in the film. Actor-director K. Bhagyaraj plays Vimal’s father and Thambi Ramaiah plays Iniya’s father. Ponvannan dons the villain of Vimal and Elango Kumaravel has done a prominent role as ‘Kuruvikaarar’ in the film.
Starring: Vimal, Iniya, K Bhagyaraj, Ponvannan Direction: A Sarkunam Music: M Ghibran Production: S Muruganandham, N Puranna
