Well, for me yes we can talk in English with friends...but it depends on where we meet and the purpose...If you go to temple, most of them is speaking in English..why? Here we should talk in our mother tongue wht...
If we meet friend for business purpose, yes we can talk...
One thing we should remember, nowadays a lot of people dont know how to speak Tamil well...so we must help our community to improve our language...

Well basicly, I was enrolled in chinese school when i was in Primary time. When i was small i was wondering why I was enrolled here, why not other schools. And I dont know to speak Tamil at all untill Standard 5 I was changed to Sekolah Kebangsaan. Then I meet some Indian friends who teached me how to speak, and now I can speak and understand Tamil. Evendo, my pronouns if kinda bad, I still speak Tamil. I dint face any sort of problems in talking Tamil so far, I even use Tamil to my Malay teachers and they will ask me what was that, then I will explain what it was. Guyz, wanna impress girls, well seriously. I dint tried english, all I do is try to speak Tamil movie dialogues. Lately I use " Hi Malini, Im Krishnan, Ni avvelo .......". Thats all ya ... Its in your heart ya !! Tamil Rulez !! Raj bro Commentz Please !!

wow im realy impressed with u djsl.Although you from Chinese background but you still learn our langue. But I really don’t know why our tamil people like to show up ( not every one ) especially when they talk to their own races friend. Hmmm..they have to change their selves
