Raj wait! Don't rush. Before you get one think twice. I've tried it but not really comfortable. There are few things you can't do with it. The phone is superb but not friendly as Nokia. If you ask me I'll suggest Nokia or any other leading brand. So I suggest to give a try before grab one.

Arul,
Yes i know about the iPhone and actually im not planning to get the iPhone... i dont want to have any agreement with provider.. Im prefer to have iPone like Nokia phone where i can use "internet function" using public wireless.
At this moment, two models in my mind... Nokia N78 and Nokia E71

Using updated version dude. hehehe
I would like to inform you all that there will be latest version of iPhone (Version 3) which has been upgraded and comes with few more function. These include video recording and sms forwarding function which the current version don't have. For those who love iPhone this would be a better time to grab one.

Re: Maxis officially launching iPhone in Malaysia
Wow Arul, surprising... you also keep updated with technology news
What's new in 3.0 firmware
1. MMS: Thank god, at last MMS feature!
2. Cut, copy and pasting: If you have always wondered why there was never a c-c-p feature in iPhone now it is. With one touch of the screen, you can now copy text from emails, notes and websites and paste them into any application. You can also delete newly pasted data by shaking the iPhone and selecting the option from a pop-up window.
3. P2P: This comes as a surprise but peer to peer technology can be used by iPhone developers from bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc. You can also play multi-player games with cool speed.
4. Third-party add-ons: Third party add-ons are given more value here. Glucometer et al will be a welcoming addition to iPhone 3.0. So will be for developers who can now log on to app store and make cool apps.
5. Spotlight: Searching gets more enhanced with iPhone 3.0. The users will be able to search their entire collection of applications and music, as well as email and notes.
6. Enhanced GPS: The true potential of iPhone's GPS will be unlocked now. Thanks to the new turn by turn navigation.

Wow!!! Good! Finally they've upgraded! But did you checked whether forwarding sms function has been included or no? The one my friend using currently cannot forward sms but can forward e-mails.
